One person is dead after falling off a personal water craft into Lake Osborne in West Palm Beach. The county's sheriff's office said two people were on a Jet Ski cruising around the lake Saturday afternoon around 5:30 p.m. when something went wrong and both individuals were thrown into the water. Tourist Dies After Falling Off Boat in Florida

A Georgia tourist died after being knocked from a boat in northern Florida. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission reports that a 56-year-old man was riding on a 19-foot boat, entering the Mexico Beach Canal, when a wave hit the vessel and threw him into the water. A 17-year-old boy on an inner tube that was being pulled by a personal watercraft was seriously hurt when the tube crashed into the embankment of a canal in Davie, Florida. An investigation was being conducted into whether speed or alcohol were factors in the boating accident, officials said. A teenager was driving the watercraft, said commission spokesman Jorge Pino.
